A New Year Ahead.

Happy New Year Everyone.

Well, it's been twenty-two days since the new year has begun, but I guess it's better late than never.

And what a hectic year it has been.

The National Day Celebration precision drill moments, the Orienteering Competition near-misses, the amazing run in the Annual Shooting Competition, etc etc...

This year, the activities will be no different, but not the same either. For a start, SCGS will try to put our cadets on the stage - literally - for the National Day Parade at the Esplanade as part of the NCC Contingent.

We will also try to gather greater honours in our shooting competitions, and build up on our excellent pool of marksmen (or more appropriately, markswomen) to aim for more top Ten awards in each cadet Part.

To top on that, there will be a proposed Overseas Adventure Camp in June.

Now, how's that for a start? :)

Right now, even as I'm typing this, the wheels are set in motion for all these events, and more. And I sure our company of ladies will be ready to surmount all these challenges and grab any opportunities for them to shine in this CCA they have chosen.

They will, simply because we believe all of us have made the right choice to be a part of SCGS NCC.

Wishing everybody the best times ahead for the year, and stay fit.

The Commanding Officer
SCGS NCC
